I recently completed a total overhaul of the central hallway of Westview Elementary School up in Goose Creek, SC. (Go Whales!) This hallway connects all other hallways in the school to the main offices and is the first thing visitors see when they enter the school. This hallway went from drab to sophisticated with a bit of wall paint and elbow grease! The concept was to turn this hall into a gallery for student art, as well as be a more inviting place for students and faculty to lounge, read, and relax in a space away from their classrooms. I'm very excited to see student work displayed in these funky gallery frames!
...check out that before and after!
Definitely a more fun, inviting space now! Crossing 'cinderblock' off my list of surfaces painted!
